Dear git diff, it is not helpful to put angry red ^Ms at the end of my changed lines when the file itself is CRLF. You're just making me worried I've done something wrong when I haven't!

(not my files else they'd be LF as the Lord intended)

Comical snark
Not entirely fair, because there _are_ some doctors looking into Long Covid properly...
"Physicians can help you with post Covid symptoms about as much as toddlers with one of those pretend doctor kits. Actually, the toddler probably has better advice because they might actually say something helpful like “take a nap” instead of the “deconditioning” BS from the “trained” physicians (who have nearly zero training in post-viral pathologies)."

Sigh.
Me - make off handed remark to new manager about not following our process (we missed a step).
New manager trying to be helpful - here, I found our documented process in Confluence; I think it might answer your question.
Me - waits for new manager to realize I wrote said process 11 yrs ago and have been faithfully maintaining it since. *Oh it wasn't a question, it was an assertion.*

One interesting thing about micro-abandonment is that it works with friendships just as well.
Whenever I reach out – asking for help or just sharing a meme – and get ghosted or get some perfunctory answer, I feel deflated. Communication is a bid for connection and there’s only so many times one does that to oneself until one stops bidding.
And that’s how friendships unceremoniously end.
